Hi. My name is Don. I created this website because of my interest in teaching EFL and desire to offer useful info to fellow teachers and to EFL students.
Like a lot of English teachers, I got into the profession while trying to have rewarding experiences in foreign lands and cultures that I was interested in. It turned into a career that has taken me to Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam. I've taught all types of English to all kinds of students: general EFL to kids and adults of all ages and levels, business and technical English to office and factory personnel, English for Specific Purposes to civil servants, military, police, staff of NGOs, airlines and cruise ships, and to future chefs. I have also led teacher training and workshops for foreign English, science, and math teachers.
After teaching for a time at DLIELC in Texas, I am now back in Asia. Currently, I am an English Language Fellow for the third time, posted to Hue, Vietnam. I am teaching civil servants and university students, and leading workshops for Vietnamese teachers.
As always, I'm hopefully representing America faithfully, helping to win hearts and minds . . .
Feel free to contact me with any Qs or requests: [email protected]
